Books and Supplies

Financial Aid students on a Pell Grant are allowed to defer books and materials through Akademos at OTC Business Offices for their educational program of study one time within the first seven business days of the beginning of their program, if eligible. A person may opt out of purchasing their books and materials through the Pell Grant and understand they must wait to receive any Pell funds that are available to them until they attend a certain amount of clock hours. Financial Aid students on a book deferment must bring back ALL books unopened and materials unused to cancel their deferment within the first five days of school. Any books or materials used will be the responsibility of the student and will have an outstanding fee until paid in full.
